Legal residents of certain countries are eligible for a faster processing, usually 20 calendar days, of their study permit.
Student should be resident of China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, the Philippines, Senegal, Vietnam.
Should be accepted in a post-secondary designated learning institution.
Should have proof of payment of tuition fee for first year of study.
Should have a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) of CAN$10,000.
May need a medical exam done, before application.
May need police certificate, before application.
Should have the most recent secondary or post-secondary school transcript(s).
Should have one of the below language test result:
A score of 6.0 or higher in each skill (reading, writing, speaking and listening) on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) .
A Test d’évaluation de français (TEF) score that is equal to a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of at least 7 in each skill (reading, writing, speaking and listening).
